Tim Davis, candidate for U.S. Senate, is banking on the roots of Minnesota farmers to help create jobs and turn the economy around. The difference between Davis and other candidates, however, is he hopes those roots will be attached to a cannabis plant. Full story.

King Banaian to run for MN House

King Banaian, professor at SCSU, has recently officially announced that he will be running for The State House of Representatives.
Banaian said, “I’ve been someone whose covered pretty much the entire range of what people can do on campus.”
King Banaian has been a professor at SCSU for 26 years. He has Been Chairmen for the Econ. Dept. for nine years.
Banaian said, “I was ending being the department chair and our daughter turned 16 and doesn’t need as much of her dad. We thought, ‘now’s the time to run.”
