In order to stay on top of any issues that may arise from widespread influenza activity, Stearns County Public Health has been in contact with local health care facilities, according to a county press release.

There are no major concerns or shortages in relation to the county’s influenza activity at this time.

The flu season has been categorized by Minnesota Department of Health officials as “very severe” in comparison with recent years but says that the pace of new infections appears to be slowing in the state.
