After former Penn State defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky was convicted on 45 of 48 counts of child molestation on June 22, the Freeh report doomed Penn State and it’s head officials for not taking the proper steps to ensure the safety of children.
Penn State began by firing former head coach Joe Paterno and school president Graham Spanier last November. Now the penalties have been handed out months after the investigation began.
