On Feb. 13-15 a group of musicians, led by Minneapolis vocalist Pamela McNeill, paid tribute to Fleetwood Mac with the “Rumors & Dreams: A Tribute to Fleetwood Mac” concerts at Pioneer Place on Fifth.
The primary inspiration behind this tribute is McNeill’s lifelong love of the band.
“They’re my Beatles. I grew up listening to them,” she said. She went on to describe how she first heard their music. “I had a sixth grade teacher … and on Friday afternoons, if we were really good [he would play the album] “Rumors” … I couldn’t really decide why, but I just knew I really loved it.”
